Here at Digital Platinum A&R, we consider an emerging artist as someone who is gaining momentum in the independent artist scene.  The artist is gaining attention from those in the industry, or those with connections to those in the industry.  They have a decent following and promoting buzz.  The emerging artist is just that...someone who is emerging from the scores of artists in the independent scene.  They are about to be noticed by those who matter in the business, and we are proud to give them that added exposure that could put them over the top.
